Four-wire Zone Valve (24 VAC) features 3/4- and 1-inch sweat connections. It provides flow control for a single-zoned manifold (manifold serving one zone), and has a built-in flow-balancing feature. The zone valve includes end switch for activation of relay (pump), heat plant or other auxiliary devices. Do not mount actuators upside down.

        • 3/4" Thermal Zone Valve, four-wire

          Q:

          I cannot get the valve to "unlock". I connected the 2 red wires to a 24V source for 6+ minutes then disconnected the power. The switch did not close. Tried it several times w/ no luck.

            It sounds to us like the power head is bad and may need to be replaced.

            Sounds to me like the little shiny metal pin under the actuator might have gotten stuck from not moving for a long time. Try to take of the actuator and push on the pin with a flat hard object. careful not to scratch the pin as that could rouin the valve. Hope it helps.
