Comments about 1/2" ProPEX EP In-Line Valve:

I bought 15 valves for a 14 valve home run job and did have one faulty valve. The company was excellant about sending out another replacement in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this product and as always I have had great service with this company.

Comments about 1/2" ProPEX EP In-Line Valve:

I never used Propex fittings before and found them very easy to use. I have made about fifty connections with no leaks or problems. The advise about using a heat gun to dissemble a fitting is correct. I did nick a plastic fitting trying to cut off the tubing with a knife.

Comments about 1/2" ProPEX EP In-Line Valve:

I used these on pedistal sinks where all of the plumbing came up through the floor. They are in- line & small so you can tuck them away out of sight.

Those are shut-off valves. You will not be able to adjust flow with them. A
gate valve will work best for your application.

Could be used but would not be very accurate. Inline ball valve would be
      better.

You can use it for flow adjustment, but keep in mind that its fully-open throughput capacity is about 1/3 of that of 1/2" tubing. Simply put, it will be a bottleneck. I recommend to pay a bit more and buy quality ball valves.
