There is a manual EMER setting, or it can be a 3rd stage.
Some central heating/air-conditioning unit go through 2 stages when the heat/cold comes on – a “high” output followed by a normal level
The terminations on the RS9415 were as follows: C, R, Y2, Y1, W1, G, W2, O, B. The terminations on the RS4220 are: RH/R, RC, C, G, B, O, Y1, W1, Y2, W2, E, L. So the wiring is not going to be exactly the same. The manual for the RS4220 shows on page 3 how to match up the old terminals to the new ones.
