Note: Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406-CASH-ACME).
The SharkBite 45° Street Elbow is sometimes called a street el or service elbow, it is intended to make connections easier in tight spaces right off of another fitting. These fittings come with a copper tube sized (CTS) tail piece on one end and a push-to-connect connection on the other end that is compatible with Copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT and SRD9 HDPE pipe.
