Happy with the purchase
Our 11-year-old 50-gallon GE hybrid water heater started with a slow leak. We researched the next generation of heat pump water heaters and decided we wanted a larger size. Our final two choices were between this unit and the LG unit.
We purchased this on a Sunday and received on Wednesday, with installation the following weekend. There was some shipping damage, but after taking off the cover there was no internal damage. The noise level is much quieter than the GE, and the tone is much more pleasant. We've had for about a month now.

So far, so good.
I bought this hot water heater and installed it a week back. Installation is straightforward, but this is a very heavy unit for a diy install. Once onsite, installation was straightforward. I bought this unit for energy efficiency and the fact that it's the only true heat pump water heater on the market. Temp is adjustable by the degree. When running, the heat pump is very quiet. My old unit was also a very early heat pump hybird made by carrier. When it came you could hear it everywhere in the house. My dehumidifier is loud than this unit. TIme will tell and I'll report back with electrical usage.

Very impressed
Very nice unit, installed to replace propane system. It is clearly very well designed and engineered. The unit is enormous, so make sure you measure. It works incredibly well. Plenty of hot water, no issues. Some have remarked that it is loud, but I have not found that to be the case.

Exactly what we wanted, but HUGE!
If you are replacing a standard 80 gal water heater be aware that this unit is ENORMOUS. We almost couldn't fit it hrough the door. I didnt really measure bc I assumed 80 gallon hybrids were about all the same size, but this unit is MUCH wider and taller than the GE Geospring we were replacing. Hookup was simple. Also note that this has 1" inlet and outlet -- not 3/4, so you will need appropriately sized supply lines.
Very quiet, hardly runs at all for family of 8, maybe 2x per day max. I love the maintenance free electric anode on the 300E, that's why we bought it.
Delivery was excellent, price was competitive. Very happy with Supply House. Will buy from them again.
