Perfect fit for Broan bathroom fan
Recently purchased the Broan Model QTXE110FLT fan unit for a bathroom that was built without an exhaust fan. The exhaust for this particualr model was 6", but needed to step it down to 4". I wanted to use a Broan duct transition to ensure a perfect fit and this item fit the bill! It fit perfectly to the exhaust and was of high build quality. I would highly recommend this product.

Not exactly a fit...
As this was a "Broan" parts made to fit a "Broan" stovetop vent hood, I was surprised that it did not actually fit the vent outlet. It is "OK", but too large to fit snugly! I am a machinest / fabricator, so I nade it work. It was well made, but a "So-So" fit for something made for a specific size outlet!

Did the job. Best option that I could find.
Used a part of a range hood installation. Needed to go with 7" or larger duct to satisfy air volume. This part met that requirement.
The rectangular section was larger than 3-1/4" x 10" so the fit to the hood wasn't great, but a bit of snipping, sealing mastic and some self-tapping screws fixed that.
The round end was correctly sized.
Construction quality was as expected in the HVAC world.

This 3.25"x10" to 6' dia. straight boot transition is not carried by local HVAC distributors, and Supply House had just what I needed, and at a reasonably price, and it included shipping, and prompt delivery. ,
