Q: The T-Kjr2u-os water heater has already been installed. Is it necessary to go into the wall again to install the recess box, or can it fit over the heater without going into the wall?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe TK-RB02 is two pieces, the cover and the box. Holes must be drilled to accommodate the piping, as well. Depending on your installation it may not be possible to get the box on an already installed unit.

Q: I am planning to buy the Takagi T-K4-OS Tankless Water Heater and the Recess Box TK-RB02. What other items will I need for this to work? Are there support brackets that I may need if they are not included with the Recess Box?
