Description

The adapter automatically rotates the expander head on each expansion to avoid creating grooves on the PEX tubing. This alleviates the need for installers to manually turn the tubing. Fitting easily into tight installation spaces, the lightweight ProPEX Auto Rotation Adapter expands 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" tubing, fits on all ProPEX Expander Tools (manual, air and battery, except for the ProPEX 200 Battery Expander Tool) and is compatible with all standard expander heads. (Note: H-heads are not compatible with the adapter.) Features and Benefits: Fits easily into small installation spaces, Lightweight, Simplifies installation, Can help reduce sealing time in cooler weather, Consistent connection, and Fits on all ProPEX Expander Tools.

A must have!!!!!
I install loads of PEX in my town, mostly residential. This tool is a great product sold by a great company. A must have in tight spaces where it is hard to rotate the manual tool head. Makes installing PEX even easier than before.

very fussy
You can really get accustomed to this since you don't really know how much you benefit from it until you don't have it. It is very fussy to use however. Plenty of ways to misuse it with larger size (i.e. 1" or >) pex.

It is recommended by the manufacturer that you use graphite grease to lubricate this tool for first-time use, and for future use as necessary.

Q: Does one ProPex Auto Rotation Adapter tool fit (1/2"-3/4"-1") ProPex tubing and is it sold with the hand tool as a kit and if so,what is the price?
