Aidoo Control Wi-Fi Controller for Daikin Residential AC Units

We installed this because Mitsubishi's cloud solution was incompatible with our WiFi. This seemed to work well at first, but I soon discovered that any interruption in internet access caused it to turn the system off. That meant I had to catch that this happened and turn it back on. At least I could do that remotely. But it also goes offline, requiring someone to be there physically to turn off power and turn it back on. That totally defeats the reason for having this product. This is at a second home so remote access is essential. We will ditch this as soon as we return to have it replaced.

I want to give this 5 stars but u less they fix some kinks it will stay 3 stars. The device is nit hard to hook up but the cable to attach to the ductless ia way to long & they dont sell anything shorter so be prepared to wrap the cable & tuck it in the bottom back of the ductless. Once its hooked up the paring is a pain becasue it really takes a few minutes to to get it paired to your phone app. Once you do then you name your device & location, which usually takes 2 times to do then your done. Dont get rid of your remote becasue the app only contains the basic functions, fan speed & controlling the louvers. Was hoping more options were listed in the app but still overall good. Now I use Samsung smartthings so I love the ability of setting up a variable climate control system. Love the smart in the adapter but also wish was a bit cheaper. Overall still happy.

Wanted to remotely control the a/c in the garage. Electrician had it installed in 3 hours. Glad I bought it!
