I installed this mixing valve for the domestic/potable hot water in our home. We heat with a coal fired boiler in winter with fuel oil as a backup. The domestic hot water is heated by a coil in an 80 gallon tank. Domestic hot water temperatures could reach 180-190 deg. F at the taps. I needed a mixing valve rated to 210 degrees F, which this Apollo valve is. It is a well made valve, made in USA, and does the job handily for my home domestic/potable hot water system. It is easily adjustable.
I was impressed with the weight of the cast brass body and the machine work. A good solid mixing valve. The price was a bit more than a "homeowner grade" valve but with the higher supply temperatures and the type of service, it was well worth the price.
