Works for my project
I needed larger exterior electrical box face plate to install new exterior light fixtures that had a bigger backplate that would not fit on smaller box faceplate. I could only use the faceplate of this product since I could not remove old boxes without tearing out walls. They work right now. The only problem may be the weight of the new fixtures seems to be pulling the backplate off the faceplate more than the old light fixtures did and I'm concerned about water intrusion even though we did put a bead of clear caulk on top where the two meet. Manufacturers need to make smaller backplates on exterior light fixtures. 1" smaller backplate would have saved me the hassle of going through all of this.

as I only received half the product
The current light block was too small for a new picture I bought. The kit was shipped not as a kit but 3 separate pieces. Two plates and one box. Should heve been 3 plates and 3 boxes. The item did not work as I needed the box pass thru at the 2 / 3rd mark not in the middle
