Description

Recessed electrical box with weatherproof-in-use extra-duty cover for existing siding construction. Non-metallic cover and base. Accepts most single gang wiring devices and uses standard indoor wall plates or a GFCI cover plate. Box and white cover are textured/paintable. UV rated plastic for long outdoor life.

Best boxes out there.

These boxes are bigger than you think on your siding, but they look like they'll last for generations. Easy enough to install on the siding, the only hard part is putting the box in place with actual wires coming in. If the supply wires are coming in the back it'll be hard to fit anything but the shallowest of outlets, so a GFCI is a tight squeeze. Better to come in top / bottom / side, and notch the siding hole a bit larger where the wires are for easy placement in the hole.
