Not a good product.
It's hard to describe exactly what is wrong. They are indeed 5/8 lap, but they have the angles all wrong. I can distort the mounting block to fit the siding, but then the lamps don't fit to the block.

works as intended
While it didn't match my siding lap/ angle exactly (it would seem my siding lap is greater than 5/8"), it's close enough. Otherwise, it's a nice piece and worked perfect to mount my generator inlet box.
