Looks good!
I'm not a fan of baseboard heat at all and with the renovation of my kitchen I decided to go with recessed wall mounted blowers. These fit the bill perfectly. Just put it in the wall, put a K84 unit into it, run the copper lines to it and you're good to go!

Color is not "White"
Units were received in good condition and in a timely manner. Most old homes with black-pipe radaitor plumbing will need a conversion adapter (1 inch to 3/4 reducing to 1/2 intake and output). Install is not for the average "Joe". Recessed cabinet is not white (ivory). you will spend more more time and money to purchase rustoleum or simular heat resistant spray for a clean finished look. other products for the difference of the price may be a better options if you have young children or are sensitive to strong fumes and odors. Compared to the "Quiet One KSWK", a difference of less than $8.00 is cheaper than the price to return this item if you don't want to paint it and if your paint supply is not within waling distance. Save you $ and time and buy what looks to be white if you need too!

maybe I would buy this again
Recieved W42 cabinet with manufacturers box packed inside supplyhouse shipping box. Opened shipping box and noticed manufacturers box had been opened then taped back shut. That should have been a clue to ship it back but had already cut up shipping box. When opened unit noticed it was banged up some and mounting hardware was missing. I don't think this happened at the factory because grill was remounted on box upside down.Probably a return that was shipped to me without inspection.

yes I would buy again.
I think 2 out of 3 units must of come back from return job site. Housing frame where bent like they had been taken out of the box did not like it, and replaced back in to box some what of a cowboy fashion. It was repaired easily.

Limited heating capacity-output fan fairly noisy.
I replaced a much larger unit heater with this unit to gain the space so I expected the loss in btu's. My Argo boiler is putting 140 degree water through this unit and I'm not getting a lot of heat gain in the space I'm heating. Fan on high is fairly noisy even after all the trouble taken with the mounting work and extra measures to pad and isolate potential rattle areas. The big plus for me is the space gained and since the unit shares the wall with a shower behind I should gain a minimal amount of heat there.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYou may want to consider the FK42 Floor Kit for the K42 Kickspace Heater. This kit allows for the floor mounting of the heater under a floor grate. Q: I am not seeing anywhere on here which heaters are actually compatible with this cabinet. In some of the Q&A people have referenced the K42, but why wouldn't the K84 be compatible with the W84 and the K42 be compatible with the W42? Am I missing something? Thanks

At this time I am using the standard 42, if the dimensions of the other coil are the same then it should fit, its more about the physical size and placement of the pipes then the BTU rating. Paul

Q: When installed as designed, with the K42 heater unit in place, does the heated air blow toward the floor through the lower grill or does it blow out the upper grill into the room?

The input is from the bottom, output from the top. The door allows access to the fan switch, the selection on my unit is center off one side high the other low.

Q: Does the W42 come with a built in thermostat and a recess wall mounting kit?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe W42 is an empty recessed wall kit into which a K42 heater can be placed. The K units do not have any type of thermostat. They each have an aquastat which senses the water temperature (standard is on at 120°F degrees, off at 105°F). The unit can be wired to a line voltage room thermostat.
