You may want to consider the FK42 Floor Kit for the K42 Kickspace Heater. This kit allows for the floor mounting of the heater under a floor grate. The W42 cabinet is designed for wall applications. http://www.supplyhouse.com/Beacon-Morris-FK42-FK42-Floor-Kit-9769000-p
It would probably work ok but I am not sure how you would keep dirt out of it and how you would clean or access the innards if mounted in that manner.

At this time I am using the standard 42, if the dimensions of the other coil are the same then it should fit, its more about the physical size and placement of the pipes then the BTU rating. Paul

It blows out the top grill.
Air flow discharges from (out) the top vent.
In through the lower grill and out from the top grill.
The air blows from the floor grill to the top grill and out at the top grill.

The heat blows out through the upper grill.
The input is from the bottom, output from the top. The door allows access to the fan switch, the selection on my unit is center off one side high the other low.

The W42 is an empty recessed wall kit into which a K42 heater can be placed. The K units do not have any type of thermostat. They each have an aquastat which senses the water temperature (standard is on at 120°F degrees, off at 105°F). The unit can be wired to a line voltage room thermostat.
