Works great with indirect hot water heaters
This air vent was a big improvement over the air vent that comes with Weil-McLain Gold Plus indirect hot water heaters. When the boiler loop is filled with water, this air vent eliminates air as fast as the system can be filled. It avoids the need to set up other means of purging air out of the water heater, or the problem of residual air in the boiler loop when there is the first DHW call.
