Please Note: PEX tubing is unstable under UV light. To ensure the long term stability of PEX, care must be taken to avoid overexposing the product to sunlight, both before and after the time of installation.
Bluefin PEX-a pipe is produced with crosslinked polyethylene. Crosslinking is obtained through a chemical process that increases the bonds between macromolecules to form a more complex structure than the normal polyethylene. Due to the crosslinking, the polyethylene's performance is greatly enhanced and maintains the excellent properties of thermoplastics. Offering excellent corrosion resistance, incredible flexibility and unusual toughness, Bluefin PEX-a pipe allows for fast and easy installation.

Best way to keep pex on the truck.
1. stays in a tight coil even after cutting the packaging, which is what I need for space.
2. a lot easier to straighten the Blue Fin Pex B
3. It's clear, so I can see when water goes through it and I don't have to worry about not having enough red to finish the hot lines or blue to finish the blue lines.

Never use PEX again
First time I've used PEX for DHW application. Retrofitted a recirc line using this tubing. The thermal expansion is ridiculous. It must be at least 3/8" per foot with approximately 130 degree water. A straight horizontal run of tubing clamped at every joist (16" OC) expanded like crazy and is sagging and zig-zagging between every clamp. Looks terrible. I do not know if this problem applies to all PEX, PEX-A, or just this Bluefin product. I will never use PEX again! Copper forever!

BlueFin by SupplyHouse PEX A is Tops
PEX A in Red and Blue is what I prefer to install.
My local supplier sold me some uponor that is white with either a light red or blue label, totally unacceptable to my standards (it works but I like color coding)
SupplyHouse had their BlueFin product like I want. I will purchase it again and again

Packaging needs improved
The piping itself is good but getting off the coil is a pain. Would be nice if it could be made to uncoil easier.
