0.5 Micron 20" GNT Carbon Briquette Cartridge

Designed for highly effective filtration of water for certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC’s) such as toluene and xylene. Also effective for pesticides, chlorine, taste and odour and sediment reduction down to 0.5 micron, making it an excellent polishing filter or pre-filter in applications that require fine filtration. These cartridges are also excellent at filtering Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts from potable drinking water making them ideal for potable water filtration and many industrial, commercial and food service applications

Product Feature:

• Capable of reducing 99.9% of Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts
• Designed as a polishing filter, it is recommended that these cartridges are installed in conjunction with a pre-filter to remove sediment. Removal of sediment prior to contact with a finishing cartridge prevents the finishing cartridge from plugging prematurely due to sediment entrapment long before the maximum utilization of the carbon has been achieved
• Bonded powder activated carbon filter media
• Polypropylene end caps, inner / outer wraps and netting c/w Buna-N gaskets
• Temperature Range 4 F to 180 F (4.4 C to 82.2 C) (for VOC and pesticide reduction 85 F max.)
