The polyester pleated filters are suited for a variety of uses and can be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. The non-woven polyester filter media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and stability. The pleated surface area provides greater sediment and dirt holding capacity while maintaining flow rate and reducing initial pressure drop.

Poly Media Too Hard
End cones on filter housing and sump won't embed into filter media. Much too hard. Makes sump installation very difficult causing leaks. (Unable to Tighten Securely) Sticking with either Pentek OEM cartridges, Hydronix Brand or ISpring.
