The polyester pleated filters are suited for a variety of uses and can be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. The non-woven polyester filter media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and stability. The pleated surface area provides greater sediment and dirt holding capacity while maintaining flow rate and reducing initial pressure drop.

Not appropriate for AP802 housing
I bought this planning to use it in the AP802 housing. Unfortunately it's not suitable for use in that housing. The actual filter is fine but it does not have the required plastic-and-rubber endcaps.
