Pilot Assembly w/ Cable for SCG/PVG Boilers, 108112-01

I had to replace the Pilot Assembly on my Burnham Boiler. I had previously purchased this factory part in case that happened. I noticed on disassembling the old assembly that there was an orifice reducing flow out of the pilot assembly. That was not included with this part and the boiler would not fire. It did not fit the new part. I had to engage a service company to solve the issue, The technician was surprised that the orifice was not included in the package. He had the appropriate orifice and the unit fired up.

My boiler was acting up. Joe answered the phone on a weekend. He was able to research and determine that the part for my boiler in their warehouse was indeed the right part. I procrastinated changing it because the boiler started working again. Don't want to mess with it this time of year if I can wait until it warms up outside, just in case. Well, today it failed again. I replace the part Joe verified for me and the boiler fired right up. Too bad the part is a bear to access, but that's not Supply House's fault.

The hood over the spark electrode was 30 degrees off center. My old ignitor had the hood centered directly over the electrode and worked for 16 years. This new one works fine but the manufacturer's inattention to detail bothers me. Delivery and follow up was very good.

I am very happy with this product. It was very easy to assemble. I would definitely buy this item again as well as recommend it.

Much more robust with silicone tubing covering the length of the cable. I read the lifespan of these is around 3 years, so I have another, one proudly displayed, on a nail next to my boiler. The service company wanted 8X the price of this because of 'overhead'. Fired them, and could not get them out of my house fast enough. It's the 21st century, we no longer have to rely on them to source parts.
