seems to work, nice unions allow you to add the "nut" late
I've only been using the valve for a few days so I can't comment on reliability.
The two unions that are used are nice, because the "nut" piece can be added after you have soldered or screwed all of the other permanent piping together. Usually with older unions, you have to remember to put the "nut" on first and have it dangle loose on the pipe while you solder or screw on the rest, but here the nature of the nut lets you slide it on afterwards. Saves a lot of mental health.
