1/2" MNPT FlowCal+ Automatic Flow Balancing Valve w/ Check Valve, Low Lead (0.5 GPM)

Especially suited for hot water recirculation balancing, FlowCal+ maintains pre-determined constant flow in circuits, regardless of differential pressure changes across them. The easily serviced cartridge is made of a scale-resistant, low-noise polymer, and can be replaced if different flow rates are needed. FlowCal+ offers multiple union end connections for easy installation and maintenance. With an integrated check valve , filter screen and optional temperature gauge, FlowCal+ packs a lot of value into one unit.

• Automatic hot water circuit balancing: Installed on each return branch of the recirculation circuit, the dynamic modulating valves automatically balance the recirculation circuits to ensure constant flow.
• Quiet operation: Replaceable patented anti-scale, low noise polymer flow cartridge provides specified flow rate (gpm), with no field balancing or adjustments.
• Union connections: Compact design featuring union end connections and choice of NPT, Sweat, Press and PEX fittings for ease of installation and maintenance.
• Multi-functional: Built-in check valve to protect against circuit thermo-siphoning. Built-in filter screen. Optional outlet temperature gauge to verify water temperature.
• Selectable flow rates: Factory assembled and tested with flow cartridge, choices of 0.35 to 10 gpm and pipe sizes 1/2", 3/4" or 1".
