External flow control makes cover removal unnecessary when clearing blockage at the flow control plate, keeping odours contained.

Simplifies installation
It made installing our new grease trap way easier. Having the clean-out exactly where the flow restriction is will make cleaning it easier. The air intake is 1 1/2 inch not two and that part of the description could have been made better but all in all having the intake at the restriction does make installation easier.
The clean out is a hand tight only that uses an "O" ring for sealing. I took the "O" ring to BDI and had it sized while it was new and picked up a 10 bag of 327 N70 70 rings for $2.95 plus tax just to have on hand.
