Q: I have a 1/2 inch copper water line feeding an ice maker. The current valve will not shut off and is sweated to the copper water line. Can this product be sweated onto this line. Is it all copper?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Jim. You would sweat a 1/2" nominal size copper pipe inside of this valve. Please disregard the photo, as it is a stock photo that shows male threads which is incorrect - it is for 1/2" copper sweat.

Q: I like to know how this is installed. What is on the other end of the valve. It is threaded so how is it "sweated" thank you
