I used this check valve vertically on a pressurized rain water to drinking water system. Allowed me to convert from PVC to stainless.

Used in a recirculating system for a tankless water heater.

Just received one of these valves & found flow direction marked on body is opposite of actual direction. Properly installed the valve should be fully functional.

This product is used in a open radiant heating system that I installed in my house over 20 years ago. This spring loaded check valve is for a hot water re-circulation feature to to have instant hot water at faucets up to 60 feet from the hot water heater. This is part of an open radiant heating system that I installed in my house over 20 years ago. The product is as good or better than similar product costing three times as much.
