3/4" x 48" Black Nipple

Over the years that I have bought pipe nipples from SupplyHouse, I've noticed its a bit of a hit or miss as to if the pipe is going to actually be in the shipping container or not. The UPS shipping goons love yeeting the packages around! Sometimes, the losses to SupplyHouse have been so great, they've resorted to shipping the pipes in huge boxes swaddled in seemly miles of bubble wrap. Other times, the pipe is in the package (usually a mailing tube), but the threads have been damaged. That was the case with this particular shipment. Somehow, the excellent people at SupplyHouse must figure out the happy medium between costly and annoying over-packing, and the often inadequate mailing tube. I am rooting for them to succeed, not the least because I wish to keep buying pipe from them!

The pipe is very robust and just as described. But, there are some distinct ridges that appear to have been made during manufacturing. I'm using this as a clothes hanger rack, so kit works. If this were more exposed (open shelving, etc), then I would want a more finished product. This was still the best price on the internet with fast shipping.
