No more freezing room
Used this product in my daughters room. Her ac vent would blast out air so hard we had to cover the vent. Installed this up in the attic in the duct leading to her vent. Now her vent in her room puts out a normal amount of air. I was really impressed.

I used it to sort of measure airflow through a fan. I knew my "measurement" was only approximate, because the arrow pointing to the K factor is on a sticker, and when I have bought more than one of these in the past the stickers are in different places, thus different dampers give very different readings, thus any "measurement" should be considered a rough approximation only

Helped Control Air Flow Precisely
After revising the duct work to accommodate it, I used my manometer and their nomograph to precisely determine needed air flow to my family room. You do have to cut notches in the attaching ducts to accommodate the pressure taps. A big improvement over those tilting plate dampers.

Finally a quality damper
I'm using these in a residential application. I didn't want the cheap wing nut and handle type that flops around and never really confident in where it's at. I plan on balancing my system and have a summer/winter mark so I can manually zone my up/downstairs. For heating and cooling season.

Worked perfectly.
Installed 6" and 8" baffles in in 2 flex ducts for 2 bedrooms that were constantly either too hot (winter) or too cold (summer). Now with these installed the entire house has all rooms +/- 1degF with each other.

Q: K, hear it goes! I have a 10" round duct going into my crawl space for heating and cooling. I would like to add one of these dampers to reduce the flow into my crawl space in the summer months. I'd rather have more cool air upstairs and it makes no sense cooling the crawl space! Will this work?
