484303 - With 100 CFM of airflow capability, the Simple 100 (SMPL100L) bathroom exhaust fan offers high quality performance with wall or ceiling mount options.
Our bathfan Simple (SMPL) series are the perfect solution for your bathroom exhaust ventilation needs. The low-profile design of only 3-3/8 in. (86mm) creates an ideal installation for 2x4 in. (51x102mm) and taller joist construction. With this product comes a single adjustable hanger bar that extends up to 24 in. (610mm). Use this versatility to your advantage to install the product in either a wall or ceiling application.
Constructed of 26-gauge galvanized steel to prevent corrosion, this fan is built to last. It comes with a detachable 4 in. (101mm) duct connector that has an integrated, lightweight, soft-close backdraft damper. The Alternating Current (AC) motor is energy-efficient and permanently lubricated with thermal overload protection to enable long lasting reliability. An 11W LED light is integrated into the grille to illuminate the space. The exhaust fans are also quiet, with just a 1.1 Sones noise rating.
These bathroom exhaust fans are ETL listed, ENERGY STAR® & HVI 2100 certified, and they comply with California Title 24.

Fantech's Cheapo Lineup
Overall build quality of the box and fan assembly is average. Installation is simple if access from both sides is available but one side access would be difficult due to the duct adapter location not being slightly more centered to the box.
Uninsulated flex duct will not fit the oval adapter, you must use regular insulated flex and foil tape the connection to the duct and the plastic adapter to the inside of the metal box on the bottom for a good seal. The installation screw for the plastic duct adapter is also in a tight spot and should be moved to the top left position- and the whole adapter should be metal.
The duct adapter also sits too tight to the sheetrock on the bottom side- so put the hose on first!
Fan operation is quiet.
The wiring compartment needs to be a little bigger to accommodate wire nuts.
The plastic grille is a complete piece of crap as well as the little pin connectors. The light color temp is terrible at a bright/ day light making it look cheap and can make a dated room look very dated. Should be normal soft white and could have a little better distribution.
