Field Air Boosters improve air flow and distribution of conditioned air to "problem" rooms in homes and businesses. They are mounted in ductwork and improve air flow by up to 1400 cfm, improving heating/cooling system efficiency and saving energy. There are nine models designed for round or square ducts up to 14" in diameter.

Good air flow but very loud
I purchased this booster fan to drive more air to the second floor of our home. It works very well in terms of distributing more air, but it is very loud. In fact, annoyingly loud - even at other branches of the duct. I have used other fans (that burned out) and you could hardly perceive noise from them.
If this fan was quieter, I would have rated it as five stars.
