Mini UV LED is the first-of-its-kind UV light LED system for mini-splits and similar limited space applications. Like all A/C systems, mini-splits are prone to internal mold growth and microbial contamination, particularly on and near the blower wheel. The LED light strip in Mini UV LED is designed to sterilize surfaces while having no impact on plastic materials.

Constant callbacks
I installed 3 of these for a customer and we've had nothing but trouble with them. They did send some warranty bulbs, but those died too. The customer just called to ask for replacement systems since even if it is under warranty, its too much of a hassle.

Don't last long
I bought 3 of these units (5/3/23). They slowly burned out over the next five months. I contacted Supply House on 10/23/23 as the units were still under warranty. It took two months for the replacement units to arrive and they were installed on January 8, 2024. In July, they started to burn out again. It seems that the shelf life of these units is 5-6 months and I don't even think they work that well. Even though I turned them all every morning and off every night, my house still smelled musty. In my opinion, it is a lot of money for such a short lifespan. Twice I had to pay an electrician to install the units, so definitely not worth it.
