Description

Whole Home Comfort
Fujitsu's Halcyon HFI system provides home and business owners just the right amount of comfort needed by installing from 2 to 8 indoor units connected to one outdoor unit. Indoor units vary by size and style and each creates its own "zone" of comfort, allowing you to heat or cool individual rooms, hallways and open spaces.
A Year Round Solution
This revolutionary system provides both heating and cooling for year round comfort in many climates. A simple push of a button on the remote control allows you to switch from heating to cooling (or vice versa) automatically.
Personalized Constant Comfort
Halcyon HFI's zoning capability allows you to set each indoor unit to a different temperature - that means you can set up to 8 different temperatures as needed! Is your upstairs hotter than your downstairs? This system provides individual temperature control throughout your home or business so each room, zone or floor will be the temperature you set!
Energy Efficient Means Low Utility Bills
Why pay to comfort rooms no one is in? With Fujitsu systems you only have to heat or cool the rooms you are using. Plus, HFI's high efficiency ratings (SEER, HSPF and EER) mean that they use less energy.
One Line Fits All
Fujitsu's HFI line comes in a variety of sizes and indoor unit styles. Choose from 7,000 Btu to 24,000 Btu indoor units and either 18,000, 24,000, 36,000 or 48,000 Btu outdoor units to achieve the appropriate amount of comfort for your space. Indoor models are available in Wall Mounted, which mount high on the wall, Slim Duct, which is concealed in the ceiling and has the look of central air, or Compact Cassette, which fits perfectly into a drop ceiling configuration with just the outer grille showing.
Quiet, Peaceful Environment
Halcyon HFI systems are so quiet you won't even know they're on.
Bonus Features for Your Convenience
HFI systems are packed with features to make your life easier. Wall Mounted models include a wireless remote control, while the Slim Duct and Compact Cassettes come with a wired remote control that is mounted to your wall. An optional Central Remote Control is available (with model AOU48RLXFZ) which can control up to all 8 indoor units. Additionally, you can set timers - 24-hour timer and sleep timer - for your convenience.

Mini-split systems need a dedicated circuit breaker to supply electricity. The outdoor unit must connect directly to the power source, while the indoor unit is powered through the outdoor unit.

Q: How long are the attaching lines between units? I am thinking about installing this unit in my 2nd story sunroom. I have 2 1/2 feet from floor to slider window to install unit. Is this too close to the floor? The room dimensions are 12x16.

Line-sets ( http://www.pexsupply.com/Refrigerant-Line-Sets-Copper-Fittings-For-HVAC-1690000 ) are used to connect the outdoor condensing unit to each indoor unit. They are available in a variety of lengths, usually in the range between 15 and 50 feet.
