Goodman high efficiency Furnace 2nd Heat Exchanger cover
It is a plastic item and wraps by time in storage. I would add more lateral supports on surface to minimize the surface wrap. If I am making it as an exact fit OEM part then I would add an extra support around the screw-on tab so it will not crack. The Form gasket is made out of neoprene so once it is crushed it does not come back. I prefer PVC Foam rubber material to maintain its elasticity to prevent water leak. I used rubberized silicon and Hylomar (automotive) gasket sealant between the cover tab and foam gasket. Do not forget to use releasing (PAM) agent on foam gasket to open the cover easy in future.
