This blade (B1086748S), made by Lau, arrived well packaged. It is perfectly balanced. The spider is thick and sturdy steel. The blades are also sturdy. The hub was bored precisely round for easy installation. Note that some Goodman units calling for this blade have aluminum propellers. This unit is steel. The small weight difference won't much matter to the motor because the shaft is vertical. Perhaps it will need a little more amperage to start rotation. (This one is on a 1/3 HP motor and the motor FLA is fine- even at lower speeds.) The price at Supply House is far lower than at the local suppliers or other on-line sources. As usual, Supply House had the blade to me the next day. Most likely, we will stock a few.

This perfectly balanced blade made by Lau is an excellent replacement for many brand propellers. (I used one on an older Haier recently.) The balance was perfect- even at 1075 RPM. Note that it is steel, something that the literature does not mention. With a vertical shaft placement, the small extra weight won't matter at all to the bearings. (Horizontal might, or might not.) For this price, it is a "must keep in stock" propeller! And, as is always the case with Supply House, shipping was instant and delivery was next day.
