Do not buy this item. It does not work
I would give this item a -5 stars if I could. I bought a very nice looking Grohe shower set for my new shower. Looks very modern, with 1 handle, as I like it. After 3 years the mixer for hot/cold stopped working. The water was not able to be warm, just scolding hot or cold. As you changed the temperature it took several minutes to react. Imagine standing in a hot or cold shower! I purchased a new mixer and the same thing happened. I called and complained. They sent me a replacement, only to have the same thing happen again. (this is the 3rd mixer). The hot cold mixers are faulty and do not work. I doubt they are made in Germany. I would buy a new shower set but that would mean I have to brake the tiles in my new shower. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
