Oil Checker is a user-friendly solution designed for swift identification of refrigeration and air conditioning lubricants. This tool accurately distinguishes between mineral oil, alkylbenzene, and polyol ester types, saving time and money by avoiding mixing mistakes.
Application
- Suitable for identifying mineral oil, alkylbenzene, and polyol ester in AC and refrigeration system lubricants.
How to Use
- Prepare: Fill Vial #1 (white cap) with 5cc (~180 drops) of test oil to 1/4 inch below the vial neck.
- Shake: Replace cap and shake for 2 to 5 seconds. If the solution is clear, the test oil is Polyol Ester - test is complete.
- If cloudy: Fill Vial #2 (black cap) with 5cc of test oil to 1/4 inch below the vial neck, replace cap, and shake for 2 to 5 seconds.
- Check: If solution in Vial #2 is clear, the test oil is Alkylbenzene. If cloudy, it is Mineral Oil.
