Trace2 Fluorescent Dye Pro-Tech Service Kit (2 oz.), 21002

The Trace 2 Pro Tech Service Kit contains a bottle of Trace 2 and an injector hose to find leaks in AC, refrigeration, and hydraulic systems. Trace 2 features a vibrant red dye that, when exposed to UV light, transforms into a bright purple-blue color, ensuring easy leak tracing without interrupting system operations. It is universally compatible with all refrigerants and refrigeration lubricants, is safer than a halide torch, and will never give a false positive.

How to Use

• Note: Use 2 oz. of Trace 2 for every 6 tons of refrigeration or 5-7% of system's oil volume.
• Prep: Remove cap from top of injector and tighten cap on opposite end for a leak-proof seal.
• Connect: Connect the injector to a source of refrigerant and to the access valve on the low pressure side of the compressor.
• Charge: With system running, slowly crack the charging hose valve and charge liquid into system. Charge slowly to avoid slugging the compressor.
• Finish: When liquid is all charged, close valves and disassemble hoses. Inspect with UV light for leaks.
