R3 Internal A/C & Refrigeration Leak Repair, 60002

R3 AC Leak Repair seals slow leaks in AC and refrigeration systems while also lubricating, conditioning, and revitalizing the system. Offering a permanent seal for leaks up to about 0.5 mm in size, it incorporates a UV dye to uncover larger system leaks that may need repair and prevents future leaks. Compatible with all refrigerants and refrigeration lubricants, R3 undergoes extensive testing to ensure it remains non-clogging to AC compressors and recovery equipment and does not react with moisture or oxygen.

Applications

• Can be used to seal leaks in condensers, evaporators, hoses, gaskets, and O-rings up to about 0.5 mm in size.

Kit Contains

• (1) 2 oz. Plastic Injector pre-filled with R3
• (1) Set of Instructions for application
• (1) 12-inch Quick Service Charging Hose with Control Valve
• (2) 1/4 inch SAE Service Valve Caps

How to Use

• Note: Use 2 oz. of R3 for every 6 tons of refrigeration or 5-7% of system's oil volume.
• Prep: Remove cap from top of injector and tighten cap on opposite end for a leak-proof seal.
• Connect: Connect the injector to a source of refrigerant and to the access valve on the low pressure side of the compressor.
• Charge: With system running, slowly crack the charging hose valve and charge liquid into system. Charge slowly to avoid slugging the compressor.
• Finish: When liquid is all charged, close valves and disassemble hoses.
