It's nice knowing that these vacuum vents are still available. I wish Hoffman still made the 1/8" vacuum vents for the radiators.

Current model vents do NOT last!!!!
The old models would last for several heating seasons before failing. These newer models don't even last one heating season before failing. Very sad that the quality of Hoffman vents is so poor!!

Get what you expect
Just put steam heat system in vacuum, so far heat very comfortable and steady. Vent eliminates air and stops re-entry. It's easy to install and don't forsee any issues.
