I am using this on an irrigation system to control pressure to the sprinklers. It is perfect and I really like the calibrted settings. Takes all the guess work away.

Excellent prduct
This was a direct replacement for a regulator that lasted around ten years. Took a little less than ten minutes to install and is presently working great. This model was more compact then the one I originally had but the dimensions between the threads was exactly the same and no problems occurred. Pex was extremely fast in shipping. Highly recommend.

High water pressure problems resolved
Water pressure at my house was nearly 100 psi and destroyed the heat exchanger on my tankless water heater in a few years. The dial pressure setting on this product elimiinates the need for a gauge and as of now it is working very well. I have used standard pressure regulators with gauges before and had them give out in a couple of years and even blow out the pressure gauge, so I hope this one holds up!

Q: Can it be used for the pressure coming into the house for a water hose connection? The water pressure coming in is too strong for the water hose.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThis valve can be used to reduce incoming water pressure within its specified pressure range (15 to 90 psi). Pressure reducing valves are normally installed on a home's water main.

Q: Is this valve suitable for outside use mounted in a vertical orientation? Will use on a irrigation system. The line will be air pressure cleared in the winter. thanks
