Works as needed but a real pain
I'm stuck using this for my pool pump. I've used a few over the years and is such a hassle to install and hard to believe they haven't improved the cover door of the programming. It barely stays open and just enough to push buttons. I have to tape it open to program and hope it stays. I have to remove every fall and reinstall every spring in the pool so you can imagine how eager I am to do this. I left it over the winter this past year and of course the battery backup was shot and wouldn't work so the reason for replacement. I could go on but you get the idea of my enjoyment for this product. I also don't enjoy your company tracking me now.

Q: Does this switch have a battery backup?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIt has a small internal battery that will hold a small charge to keep the programs for up to a 4 hour power loss. This battery pulls power off of the power wire to keep its charge it does not get replaced.After 4 hours time has passed it will lose all programs.
