Perfect replacements for a 4 zone valve manifold.
When I first looked at this 4 zone valve manifold, it looked like the entire unit would need to be replaced, but I found that Supply House sold a valve cartridge replacement. I tried it and it fit perfectly and works well. It was quick and easy to replace all four of them, finishing the job in minutes instead of hours.

Perfect replacement
This is the perfect replacement for my leaking and sticking Wirsbo/Upinor valves. I needed a ratchet wrench to engage the old valve due to the short height of the hex. This replacement screwed right in, closed then backed out the adjuster 1 1/2 turns and voila!

I would buy this valve again
The 3/4 nut used to screw the valve into the manifold could be deeper so you could get a wrench around it.

Easy to install
Saved $$$ and time by inserting the Replacement Valve Cartridge into the existing MZV520 valve housing instead of having to cut out the old valve and re-solder a new valve unit. So glad that SupplyHouse has these replacements available.

hard to find valve
This was hard to find this valve cartage fits the 1 inch sweat zone valve sold by wisbro which is now upnor floor heat they did not know where to find it the only clue I had was the word sparco 526 on the side thanks for sending me a picture of the cartage it it a little different but it works

Q: does this work with 1/2"? According to description, this one works for 1/2" and 3/4", I have a 1/2" cartridge, and the picture looks like a 3/4" cartridge. So, does this one really compatible with 1/2" cartridge? Thanks

1/2" & 3/4" zone valves both use the same cartridge. The picture may look different because they changed the design some time ago.

Q: What is the difference between the 1/2-3/4 replacement zone valve cartridge and the 1 - 1-1/4 replacement zone valve? I can't tell which one I have. I assumed it was the 1/2-3/4 and ordered a new one but the valve stem is shorter than the original and the valve is not closed when the power head is installed and the brass nut is tightened all the way. Is the 1 - 1-/4 valve cartridge stem longer?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou will need to find the model number of your original valve. The 1" and 1 1/4" replaces the valve cartridge for MZV526 and MZV527 valves. The 1/2" and 3/4" is intended for use with models MZV524 and MZV525.
