With built-in Quick Response Technology, the Hunter Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor can command a controller to shut off right when it starts to rain. This sensor can be mounted on an eave or any flat, vertical surface like a wall or fence. A gutter mount is also available that allows for easy installation on the edge of a gutter.

Didn't need the whole unit….
Very wasteful to have to buy a receiver and transmitter when the battery in the transmitter fails. Hunter does market the transmitter separately, you should carry them. Otherwise, service, shipping and price were good.
