Purchased, failed defective, warranty not honored.
Purchased one during covid it failed and wouldn't sense anything and was taken very well care of. Went back and got another one from the store and they must have given me a returned one because it did the same thing. It may have been due to the covid era something was wrong. There was a shortage of them during that time and they sent me a refurbished one back from inficon, later they told me that they would send me a new one because that's what I had purchased, later Beth at the company reassured me that they would send me a new one and then reneged on that deal and sent me a refurbished one back even though I have purchased a new one. My original one, was in a fire that the insurance never covered or replaced so I bought a new one and that's what I wound up with and now I'm stuck with this within the warranty time. Been with this company for over 25 years and this is how they treated me. I heard the new Fieldpiece infrared is really good including the infrared yellow jacket for half the price of a Stratus. Which is my next option if this refurbished one fails me including my recovery machine.

Been in business for 35 yrs used every kind of leak detector know to man kind. By far this leak detector is truly amazing and makes finding leaks an easy task now. I'm buying one for every service truck.
