The EH Series Electronic Time Switches provide control for electric water heaters with to-the-minute accuracy in programming and time-keeping. The use of a water heater timer allows the customer to shift electricity use to "off-peak" time periods to reduce utility costs. These time switches can be programmed for repeat daily scheduling, 5-day work week scheduling, weekend scheduling or individual day scheduling. Models are available for both 120 and 240 VAC applications.

EV Series Works Great
Installed EV Series timer for my hot water heater replacing a old mechanical timer that failed after 30 years. Love the simplicity and ease to program and set up. Had it installed by my electrician and could have installed it myself but at considerably more time. Looks and works fine!

Great customer service and price
My 7 year old Intermatic EH40 Timer connected to my hot water heater
Stopped working and I wanted to replace it with the same make/model.
Supply House had the exact replacement
at a good price. Delivery was fast.
New timer was installed in less then 15 minutes and is working great.

Perfect for avoiding the peak electrical rates.
I have a 50 gallon electric water heater that can easily skip the 3-5 hour periods of peak cost. The timer has a small digital display that can program the days of the week differently which works well - need a flash light to read well. I like the battery backup (one AA) they say should last three years. I would recommend you use a lithium AA to avoid having the battery leak and corrode the battery holder. Note: must carefully insert battery holder to timer to be correct and not bend contacts.

Works Great For a Low Price
This timer is much more accurate than the previous mechanical timer that I had on my hot water heater. I program it off during high electrical demand times of the day. It can be set down to the minute. Also great pricing and customer service from Supplyhouse. They are the best.
