Q: I noticed that this has a max temp of 110F is this correct? We may have been using ours in a much higher temp 97-100C (212F). Is there an alternative sensor for the A419 (with similar length) that is suitable for hot wet condtions?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYou are correct the temperature range is actually -40 to 212°F. These sensors are not designed to be in contact with water.

Q: Is there a different model sensor for outdoor ice rink applications using the a419 control than the A99B A200C?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffJohnson Controls does not manufacture a special sensor for ice rink applications. Please note that the A99 temperature sensors are not designed to be immersed in liquid. Special care must be taken when installing the sensor(s) to eliminate the probability of moisture wicking into the temperature sensor.
