Faucet assembly well made; shower riser electrogalvanized
I replaced an older, similar outdoor shower with this unit. The plated brass valve assembly looks good and installed easily. Valves operate smoothly. My original unit had a plated brass riser, which had split from being frozen. The new, steel riser has a thin, electro-galvanized layer (not hot-dipped galvanized). We will see how long that riser lasts in a tough, marine environment. I wish a brass riser option was available.

Rust inside riser pipe
It had rust inside the pipe riser. The company that made the product just needs better quality control or to coat the inside of pipe. The overall product is good, and I have used their items before. Brand: Jones Stephens

Rust inside riser pipe
The product was already rusting inside the riser pipe. The part is coated on the outside of the pipe but nothing on the inside.

Does the utility shower have cheap plastic valves like they sell at the box stores, or does if have all metal valves with rubber rings?
