Description
K-FLEX INSUL-TUBE is a flexible, closed-cell elastomeric foam insulation made from an NBR/PVC blend. It is CFC, HFC, HCFC, PBDE, formaldehyde, and fiber free, and includes an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent to resist mold and bacterial growth. The product is UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, Factory Mutual approved, and manufactured in an ISO-certified U.S. facility.
INSUL-TUBE is designed for service temperatures from -297F to +220F and helps reduce heat gain, heat loss, condensation, and frost on refrigerant lines, chilled water, cold water, hot water, and other plumbing or process piping. It is compatible with heat tracing systems.
The insulation is UV-resistant for low-to-moderate exposure. For rooftop or high-UV applications, additional protection such as K-FLEX 374 Coating, jacketing, or K-FLEX Clad is recommended.
