K-FLEX INSUL-LOCK DS (DoubleSeal) is a flexible, closed-cell elastomeric foam insulation made from an NBR/PVC blend. It features a pre-slit design with factory-applied pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, scrim reinforcement, and a PVC overlap tape for double-seal seam security and fast installation. The product is free of CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs, PBDEs, formaldehyde, and fibers, and includes an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent to resist mold and bacterial growth. It is UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, Factory Mutual approved, and manufactured in an ISO-certified U.S. facility.

INSUL-LOCK DS is recommended for service temperatures from -40F to +220F and helps reduce heat gain, heat loss, condensation, and frost on refrigerant lines, chilled water, cold water, hot water, and industrial process piping. It is compatible with heat tracing systems.

The insulation is UV-resistant for low-to-moderate exposure. For rooftop or high-UV applications, additional protection such as K-FLEX 374 Protective Coating, approved jacketing, or K-FLEX Clad is recommended.
