Description

The KRP-150FR is flush mounted and has mounting holes to facilitate installation. The KRP-150FR is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hour "B" label in walls and by Warnock Hersey for 3 hours in ceilings. Frame is 16 gage steel, door is 20 gage steel, welded pan type. Flange is 16 gage steel and 1" wide.

Ceiling access panel
Product quality was good. An edge was damaged during shipping
, but I decided to repair it (bent flange straightened). For an installation in a ceiling, I did have to expand open the trusses slightly where it was installed. It will fit for 24 in OC, but required 5/8 drywall between the wood and panel so it needed additional clearance.

Great quality
Came on time and product was as described. Corners were bent because It was not packaged properly. It needed more care in the shipping stage. I had to bend the corners back and now the paint is chipped.
