Description
–
A power cord is required for the new PTAC units by LG. The new line of PTAC's features a universal heater assembly that is capable of producing electric resistance heat. Three power cords are available. The amount of resistance heat is determined by the selection of the correct power connection kit. Power cords are available in 5 amp, 20 amp, or 30 amp circuits.
This power cord with LCDI is required for 15 amp circuit. The LG PTAC units use a 208/230 volt circuit and the power cord is connected to the base pan and then simply plugs into a wall-mounted receptacle.
This 208/230 volt, 15 amp cord will produce 2300/2400 Watts of Electric Heat. The heater current is 11.2/10.5 amps. It fits a standard 208/230V, 3-wire receptacle, rated 15 amps.
